Holly (Ferrin) Farnsworth is a former CAO/Executive Director of the Epilepsy Association of Utah (2013-2016) and a graduate of Utah Valley University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Studies.
She has 13 years of combined work and service in the ADA community. In a recent volunteer capacity, she served as Chairman to the Committee on Accessible Transportation (CAT) for Utah Transit Authority (UTA) (2014-2016). Currently, she serves on the Rare Undiagnosed Network (RUN) Professional Advisory Board, as their Epilepsy Chair (2015 - present); She is now employed as an Executive Assistant to the Finance Director at the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB).
From personal experience with epilepsy to studies on disability, her drive to do what she does comes from reality of social stigmas. Stigmas towards those with disabilities. Most important to her is seeing those who are disadvantaged succeed. Her motto centers around encouraging advocacy and independence.
